Beyoncé Joins Coldplay For “Hymn For The Weekend” Video: Watch
Coldplay and Beyoncé teamed up on A Head Full Of Dreams track “Hymn For The Weekend,” and now the British band enlisted Bey for the visual as well. It was filmed in Mumbai (maybe Chris Martin was inspired by his recent visit and dive bar performance in India?), though it doesn’t look like Bey made the trip for her scenes.
The colorful video was directed by Ben Mor, and don’t be surprised if it stirs up some cultural appropriation discussions on Twitter, although it does feature a cameo from Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor. It also serves as a teaser for Coldplay’s Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show performance next weekend (February 7), which will include a Beyoncé appearance.
