'Grease: Live': Recap
The cast hand-jived through the Fox hit!

Last night (January 31) FOX aired Grease: Live, their live adaptation that incorporated both the original musical and film (did you catch our recap, by the way?) But one of the show’s standout highlights was a moment not featured in the previous projects!

Carly Rae Jepsen, who nailed her role as Frenchy, performed an original song titled “All I Need Is An Angel.” Written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, it was sung prior to the classic “Beauty School Dropout” number and her character’s conversation with Vi the waitress (played by the original Frenchy, Didi Conn). The downtempo ballad showcased Carly’s beautiful vocals as well as her in-the-moment acting skills.
