2016 Grammy Nominations
Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd lead the 2016 Grammy nominations.

The roster of performers at the upcoming Grammy Awards just got a lot bigger. The cast of Hamilton is set to stage a number from the Drama Desk Award-winning show during the Grammys telecast on February 15 live directly from the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York. (The Grammy ceremony itself will be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.)

Hamilton is nominated for a Best Musical Theater Album Grammy, and will compete against An American In Paris, Fun Home, Something Rotten! and The King And I.

This further widens the list of performers for the 58th Grammy Awards that already includes Adele, James Bay, Andra Day, Ellie Goulding, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd.

The last time a Broadway performance was staged at the Grammys was in 2010, when the cast of American Idiot performed “21 Guns” alongside Green Day.
