Iggy Azalea Reveals Lenticular Cover Of Sophomore LP ‘Digital Distortion’
Iggy Azalea’s Digital Distortion rollout hit a minor snag when Virgin/EMI head honcho Ted Cockle refused to greenlight a video for buzz track “AZILLION,” but the Aussie rapper has bounced back. Yesterday (February 2), the 25-year-old revealed the cover of her sophomore LP on social media. I-G-G-Y showed off the lenticular artwork in a Twitter video, which comes in and out of focus as she moves the CD. It’s a perfect fit for an album with the overarching theme that things aren’t always as they seem.
Apart from that big reveal, the “Fancy” hitmaker introduced her new single “Team” to radio programmers at the iHeart Radio Music Summit today. “Finally have a mix of my 1st single ‘TEAM’ ready to play tomorrow, if you’re at the iHeart radio conference ill see you there,” she tweeted. “Im excited.” Iggy rocked neon-pink hair at the event and seemingly charmed all present (see iHeart Theater’s tweet below). The single is expected to debut next month.
