The 1975 Perform “The Sound” & “Love Me” On ‘Saturday Night Live’: Watch

Beyonce is back — and getting political — in the video for new single "Formation."

British pastel pop band The 1975 made their Saturday Night Live debut on tonight’s Larry David-hosted episode, performing a pair of singles off their forthcoming album that is really, truly called I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it (out February 26).

For their first SNL song, they performed the sophomore LP’s spiraling soul-pop single “The Sound.” Frontman Matt Healy was singing and prancing his ass off, and he got a boost from a handful of backup vocalists. Then the guys channeled their inner Duran Duran for “Love Me.” Watch both performances below.
