Elton John Revisits Old Classics With James Corden for Carpool Karaoke: Watch
While Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were busy conquering the Super Bowl stage, Elton John became the latest musician to engage in a rousing round of carpool karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden. In the 11-minute clip, the talk show host asks the music legend to help him find his way around Los Angeles during a rainy day in order to get to work.
In typical Corden fashion, hilarity and musical hijinks ensue, followed by impassioned renditions of the singer’s classic hits, including “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,” “Your Song,” “I’m Still Standing,” and of course, “The Circle of Life.” Elton John’s trademark flamboyance rubs off of Corden, as both men are depicted donning colorful scarves and outlandish sunglasses during their musical rendezvous.
