News regarding The Killers‘ next album just got a little brighter, courtesy of Elton John. In an interview with Shazam, the legendary musician revealed he’s planning to write with frontman Brandon Flowers for the Vegas band’s upcoming LP.

“I’m hoping to go to Vegas and write with Brandon for the new Killers record,” he told the site. “So that’ll be interesting.”

Up until this point, details regarding the follow-up to 2012’s Battle Born have been sparse, with Flowers previously revealing that the rock group was in the early stages of writing and hoped to share new music by the end of this year.

2016 is shaping up to be a collaboration-heavy year for Elton John, as he also announced that he’s writing with Lady Gaga for her back-to-basics LG5 album.
