Shirley Manson Of Garbage: Interview
We talk to the singer about the 20th anniversary of Garbage's self-titled debut album.

Garbage burst onto the alt-pop-rock scene in 1995 and quickly became one of the most stylish and influential bands to emerge from that decade. Despite this, the multi-national quartet have only released five albums to-date, the most recent one being 2012’s Not Your Kind Of People.

All this looks to be changing soon(-ish?) however, as the band have announced across their social media channels that they just delivered a brand new studio album, their sixth, to their label.

“Yeah, we have a new record in the bag actually, that we’re going to be mixing in the new year, and it’s slated for Spring of next year. God willing, of course,” Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson told Idolator last fall, as the band was rehearsing for the a 20th anniversary tour of their debut album.

Looks like things are coming along right on schedule.
