Zara Larsson Performs Looming Summer Smash “Lush Life” On ‘4Music’
Zara Larsson is in the enviable position of having two huge hits on her hands. The Swedish diva’s collaboration with MNEK, “Never Forget You,” went top 10 across Europe — a feat solo track “Lush Life” effortlessly repeated. Both songs are now generating serious heat in the US. The 18-year-old’s duet is already top 50 on pop radio, while her breezy summer anthem is recently entered Billboard’s Bubbling Under chart (for songs hovering just outside the Hot 100).
The rising star performed “Lush Life” on UK TV show 4Music overnight (February 8) and delivered a typically flawless vocal. She even threw in a little choreography, but left most of the movement to her backing dancers. Zara is currently finishing up her debut US LP, which should contain her current hits. “I think we’ll have ‘Uncover,’” she told Idolator in December. “I think we’ll have ‘Lush Life’ and ‘Never Forget You.’ They are singles. They’re not on any EP or album, so they will be on the album and maybe ‘She’s Not Me,’ I don’t know but at least 10 new songs.”
