On The Verge: 20 Artists To Watch In 2016
We list 20 Idolator-approved newcomers to keep an eye on in 2016.

AURORA is gearing up for her official music debut, and the Norwegian singer teamed up with art & technology company VSCO for a series of intimate Venue Portraits, which is a VSCO original.

The “Conqueror” starlet is shot by Amanda Hakan at VSCO’s studio in NYC where she looks completely in her ethereal element while donning pearls and her signature blunt bob.

When asked about how she hopes people will feel when listening to her music, she stated: “I hope my music can be just kind of a hand to hold or a little kiss on the cheek in the morning so you can stand up and be ready for life or for battle. I hope that my music can give courage. And if they need to be sad then I hope that my music can be a friend in sad times.”

AURORA’s debut All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend album is set for a March 11 release date via Glassnote Records. Along with the upcoming LP, the singer will embark on her North American tour beginning April 5 in Los Angeles.
