Taylor Swift Is Apparently Cool With Kanye West’s “I Made That Bitch Famous” Diss
Kanye West premiered his new album The Life Of Pablo last night (February 11), and one of the standout moments of the LP (which still isn’t out?) is a line on the Rihanna-featured “Famous” about Taylor Swift. “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.”

Naturally, the pop world collectively gasped that their beloved blonde deity had been the target of such a brutish lyric, to the point where this morning, West felt the need to explain himself on Twitter. Basically, he says it’s not a diss because he and Taylor had an hour-long conversation about the line, and she gave him his blessing to put it on the album. (For what it’s worth, he said his wife Kim Kardashian also ruled in favor of the lyric.)
“She thought it was funny…I’m not even gone take credit for the idea…it’s actually something Taylor came up with,” he posted, explaining that Swift was out to dinner with a mutual friend, and she told the guy, “I can’t be mad at Kanye because he made me famous!” Which quite frankly isn’t very scandalous because it’s something plenty of pop culture fans have been saying for years.
