Ariana Grande Reportedly Splits From Manager Scooter Braun
Ariana Grande has reportedly split from manager Scooter Braun.
Radar Online claims that she cut ties because of two incidents involving Justin Bieber, who is also signed to Scooter’s SB Projects. One of them was when Justin made a surprise appearance during a 2015 concert and got “a little too hands-on” as he grabbed her waist, which had then-boyfriend Big Sean tweeting, “This kid is about to learn not to touch my girl like that. Beliebe that.”
However, Entertainment Tonight reports that the “Focus” singer’s decision, after having been signed to SB Projects since 2013, was for a different reason. “Ariana always has and continues to support Justin,” a source said. “She did not think the relationship [with Braun] was working for her professionally anymore. It was time to move on. She thinks this is the best professional decision for her moving forward.”
Ariana is still readying her third album, which used to be titled Moonlight. She will still work with her own team at Untitled Entertainment and reunite with Stephanie Simon, who managed Ariana before they teamed with Scooter.
