John Carpenter, the Master Of Horror, is back with brand new music this spring. Lost Themes II, the aptly-titled follow-up to last year’s Lost Themes, will be out April 15 via Sacred Bones, and lead single “Distant Dreams,” a (what else?) synthy creep fest, premiered this morning.

On the heels of the new material, Carpenter has added more US tour dates to his calendar. He’ll be staging the live shows with son Cody Carpenter, godson Daniel Davis and a full backing band, while performing, per a press release, some of his classic film score themes and recent music from Lost Themes I and II.
