Here’s some news to brighten up your day! Icona Pop will return imminently with a new single called “Someone Who Can Dance.” Caroline and Aino announced their comeback via Instagram, captioning a very brief snippet of the song with: “We are so pumped to tell you we’ll perform our new single ‘Someone Who Can Dance’ at @GrammisSverige Gala [AKA the Swedish Grammys] on Feb 24th!” The duo is expected to release the song immediately after their performance.

Icona Pop caught lightning in a bottle with 2012 anthem “I Love It.” The track was a top 10 hit around the globe (it peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100) and resulted in support slots on Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour and Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour. The ladies rode that roller coaster for two solid years, before taking some time off and reemerging with their excellent Emergency EP last year. “Someone Who Can Dance” is the official lead single from their sophomore/third LP (depending on where you live).
