Surprise — there’s a brand new Tove Lo single out today, and it’s a soundtrack offering from The Divergent Series: Allegiant (out in theaters March 18). “Scars” is a synth-pop cut that has the Swedish singer chanting philosophically about the “scars we carry” and “what didn’t kill us makes us stronger.”
Darker than Ellie Goulding‘s similarly-tempoed soundtrack number “Love Me Like You Do” from last year, but lighter than Tove’s most recent radio hit, “Talking Body,” this one could just become a big multi-format crossover smash, given the right push.
