David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ To Get An Instagram Miniseries, Premiering February 25

David Bowie‘s Blackstar is about to be honored in a big way — with an Instagram miniseries.

Starting February 25, InstaMiniSeries will premiere 16 episodes total of UNBOUND every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Each episode will feature “evocative images inspired by the moods suggested” in Blackstar‘s music, lyrics and artwork. Meanwhile, actress Patricia Clarkson (The Green Mile, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and Rookie founder Tavi Gevinson are set to appear.

Nikki Borges and Amanda De La Nuez co-founded InstaMiniSeries last year. Last fall David gave InstaMiniSeries an advanced listen to Blackstar, so that UNBOUND could be completed in December.

“David Bowie has always been about reinvention over repetition,” Nikki said to Entertainment Weekly. “Remarkably honest and passionate in his work, his innovations have influenced our own work as we transform a social media platform into a creative outlet. We are grateful to have the opportunity to participate with the chameleonic rock icon and honored to be entrusted with interpreting his art.”
