Adele’s ’25’ Spends 10th Week Atop Album Chart

Another week, another round of awards for and records set by Adele. The “Hello” singer performed at the Brits last Wednesday (February 24), where she picked up statues for Best British Female, British Single, British Album and Global Success. And in a week that saw no major releases, the London diva’s latest LP 25 easily captured the top spot on the Billboard 200 for a 10th time since its arrival last November.

With award season dying down now that the Oscars have aired, 25 might cruise into a relatively quiet period. But chances are, if the album grabs a few Grammy nominations at the end of this year, you’d be safe putting money on there being several more weeks at #1 in its future.

On a side note, Billboard points out that 25 is only the fifth album to spend at least 10 weeks at #1 since 2000 — the others being Taylor Swift‘s Fearless (11 weeks), Taylor Swift’s 1989 (11 weeks), the Frozen soundtrack (13 weeks) and Adele’s previous album, 21 (24 weeks).

The Top 10 of the Billboard 200:

1. Adele, 25 *10 weeks*
2. Rihanna, ANTI
3. Justin Bieber, Purpose
4. Yo Gotti, The Art Of The Hustle *new*
5. Chris Stapleton, Traveller
6. The Weeknd, Beauty Behind The Madness
7. Twenty One Pilots, Blurryface
8. Joey + Rory, Hymns
9. Kevin Gates, Islah
10. Bryson Tiller, Trapsoul
