Florence + The Machine Cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs”: Watch
Florence + The Machine, known for their baroque pop offerings, delivered a stirring rendition of the Fleetwood Mac classic “Silver Springs” Friday (February 26) at the St. John at Hackney Church in London.
Accompanied by delicate piano, guitar, tambourine and some claps in the crowd, the rock tune was given an undercurrent of folksy blues. But it’s the vocal acrobatics of frontwoman Florence Welch that really pushed the cover to another level.
