Ciara Stands By 2015 LP ‘Jackie,’ Promises Her Next Offering Will Be Her Best Yet
You have to hand it to Ciara. While many pop stars duck for cover when a journalist asks hard a question, she addresses it head on. Like when someone asked her about the sales of 2015 LP Jackie. “It’s about the journey. My journey has been pretty fun,” the enduring R&B diva replied serenely. “We live in a time where record sales are way different. I’m not gonna blame it all the time because I’m really proud of the album… I got to go on tour for the album and it was really cool.”
CiCi also raved about her upcoming 7th album. “I’m super, super thrilled about this next chapter and I do believe this will be my best body of work for sure. I think that my fans will be very happy with the direction that I’m going to go in.” The 30-year-old recently canceled the remaining dates of her Jackie Tour to work on the opus. “I’m currently in the process of making the best album of my career!” she wrote on Facebook. “I want to give all of you an incredible show… A show that you deserve! Therefore, I gotta stay focused in the studio and commit myself to this new music.”
