UPDATE (4/12/16): Over a month later, TDE producer Sounwave tweeted out the project’s official credits, which confirm that Swizz and Alicia’s five-year-old son is indeed one of the producers.

Kendrick Lamar released a surprise mini-album overnight, dropping the eight-track untitled unmastered. The project features studio versions of Lamar’s three “untitled” songs that he debuted with recent performances on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show and this year’s Grammys, plus five previously unheard tracks, all apparently recorded between 2013 and this year.

Believe it or not, the To Pimp A Butterfly follow-up materialized partly because of Lebron James‘ demand for studio versions of said performances, but that’s not the only unbelievable thing about it. The second half of the eight-minute “untitled 07” was produced by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz‘ son Egypt. This is notable because Egypt is five years old.

Watch the little man at work:

(Kendrick even throws a “young Egypt” shoutout on the track.)

There are no features listed, but plenty of other artists show up. For instance, it sounds like SZA sings on “untitled 04,” Thundercat is almost certainly on a few tracks and Cee Lo Green is on track six.
