Find out what the critics thought of Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno's Super Bowl show.

Bruno Mars’ electrifying performance at Super Bowl 50 was a potent reminder that he’s one of the most exciting male pop stars on the planet. It also increased the world’s collective thirst for new music, but we’ll have to hold on a little longer. The 30-year-old’s third album won’t arrive until later in the year according to his father, Pete Hernandez. “It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months,” he told Press Reader.

“Bruno has seven great new songs — I’ve heard ’em — but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year’s Grammy Awards.” Watch out, Adele! As for the sound? Bruno’s engineer Charles Moniz gave Billboard the exclusive. “I think it’s going to be the next movement of Bruno,” he said hinting at a new direction. Needless to say, expectations are sky-high for album number three given the massive sales of Doo-Wops & Hooligans and Unorthodox Jukebox.
