Kendrick Lamar’s ‘untitled unmastered’ To Get Physical Release
On the same day that Kanye West called the death of the CD, Kendrick Lamar‘s TDE chief revealed that Lamar’s surprise release untitled unmastered. will be getting a physical release as soon as this week.

Responding to fan questions on Twitter, Anthony Tiffith promised that CD and vinyl editions of the eight-track project are in the works, and could arrive later this week (we’re guessing Friday).

This comes as TDE producer Sounwave says there are more Kendrick songs from these sessions (possibly including the so-called “Frontseat Freestyle” from the “Alright” video) that still haven’t surfaced, some due to sample clearance issues. In other words, it could be another big year for King Kendrick.
