2016 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for Niykee Heaton. After spending most of 2015 on her grind without the support of a label, the 21-year-old appears to have smoothed things out with Capitol Records. They are releasing The Bedroom Tour Playlist EP on March 18 — a collection of songs debuted during the newcomer’s first headline tour. She is also scheduled to perform at UMG’s Music Is Universal showcase at SXSW on the very same day.

While Niykee is yet to reveal the tracklist of her new EP, there’s no shortage of material to include. The internet-breaking diva dusted off a number of previously released songs on tour including upbeat bop “Best Thing Ever,” insidiously catchy “Down” (watch a live performance below) and slinky “Devil.” She has also hinted at a high-profile rap remix, which would be a major selling point.
