No, Ellie Goulding Is Not Quitting Music
Like fellow British singer Sam Smith last year, Ellie Goulding has announced she’s going on hiatus. While the British tabloids were apparently quick to parrot out “ELLIE GOULDING IS QUITTING MUSIC” rumors, Goulding herself took to Twitter today to clarify that it’s only a break, saying “It’s been seven years since I had time off.”

The announcement comes just as she graces the cover of Seventeen, and a few weeks after she offered up the lovely ballad “Here’s To Us” for the latest edition of the Girls soundtrack.
