K. Michelle Reveals Eye-Popping ‘More Issues Than Vogue’ Calendar, Drops “Mindful” Video
K. Michelle is a marketing genius. After giving away signed, nude posters with sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?, the R&B diva ups the ante by blessing fans with a seemingly NSFW calendar when they purchase new LP More Issues Than Vogue (due March 25). She revealed an eye-popping image from the calendar on Instagram last night (March 9), which depicts the singer covering herself with an apple (and nothing else).
Apart from delivering a master class in publicity, the 32-year-old is busy hyping new promo single “Mindful.” Produced by T-Pain, the fiery anthem represents a change of pace from retro-leaning soul ballads like “Not A Little Bit” and “Hard To Do.” She cuts a rival down to size over slick, hip-hop beats. “Who the fuck told y’all hoes to open up?” she quips memorably. “Cut.
