Watch Kanye West sing his favorite song of 2015: Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean."

Sia performed “Bird Set Free” on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (March 14), though she was beamed in from the Samsung Galaxy Life Fest stage at SXSW.

This was for a larger audience than Sia had even five years ago, when perhaps her biggest accomplishment was having a song featured on HBO’s Six Feet Under. Concertgoers and even Chance the Rapper now know what to expect from her — explosive vocals, wounded lyrics, that wig with bangs that graze her nose.

(“Tryna snap photos of familia / My daughter looks just like Sia, you can’t see her,” Chance raps in Kanye West‘s “Ultralight Beam.”)

Fortunately, while singing a song that she and Tobias Jesso, Jr., originally wrote for Adele, Sia also appeared more at ease to be on stage. She used to face the back corner of the stage during TV performances, but this time she faced the crowd and even beamed as she thanked people for watching.

“Bird Set Free” now appears on Sia’s album This Is Acting. Watch the Jimmy Kimmel Live performance above.
