A day after we heard M.I.A. rhyming on Baauer‘s “Temple,” the pop polyglot has dropped “Ola-Foreign Friend.” The dual track finds M.I.A. in MC mode, as she raps about immigration and Mexican border patrols, with some typically obstinate lines like “Most of the things I do, they banned it / But I’ma still do it, I’m a bandit.”

She also posted a short note with the song: “TO ALL MY FLYPIRATES and DJS – THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT !!!! LIVE FROM THE MEXICAN BORDER OLA !!!! MIA ON THE WAVES…I love u brazil!”

No word yet on whether this is part of her sprawling (literally) Matahdatah album or if it’s just a loosie dispatch while she’s on location working on the next phase of the project. Hear it below.
