Kiiara Returns With “Hang Up Tha Phone” & A Video For “Gold”
Kiiara is back with another woozy, head-voiced affair. “Hang Up Tha Phone” premiered on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 show this afternoon, and while it doesn’t break any new ground for the 20-year-old, it shows she has carved out a solid little space in the still-exciting realm where alt-R&B and cloud-pop meet.
It’s off her debut EP, which drops tomorrow (March 22) and now has the Twitter-optimized title low kii savage.
The singer also finally premiered a video for her debut single “Gold,” which is just as entrancing today as it was back in June. Check it out below, via The Fader, along with the EP artwork.
