Lana Del Rey's 'Honeymoon': Review
We review Lana Del Rey's spellbinding third album 'Honeymoon.' Find out more.

Now this is a sight for sore eyes. Lana Del Rey updated her Instagram over the weekend with a black-and-white studio pic. The caption (“every day”) isn’t particularly enlightening, but it certainly looks like the “High By The Beach” songbird is working on something new. Which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given her prolific output. The 30-year-old has dropped four releases (three albums and an EP) in as many years.

As much as I’m really excited about the prospect of new music, I still think there’s a lot of life left in Lana’s extremely-underrated fourth LP Honeymoon. If Interscope is looking for a crossover pop ballad a la “Summertime Sadness,” they simply need to service “The Blackest Day” or “Swan Song” to radio. Both tracks expertly bridge the gap between old school LDR and the densely-layered experimentation of her new album.

Every day
