Jhene Aiko Doubles Up In “B’s + H’s” Video
Jhene Aiko has been getting more coverage for her sloppy Twitter game than new music of late, but that’s all about to change. The 28-year-old returned in January with a buzz track called “B’s + H’s” (it stands for bitches and hoes). The first taste of the R&B diva’s sophomore LP is a missive to all the bad boyfriends out there. “I bet they don’t even know that you live in her home,” she sings over a hazy beat courtesy of The Fisticuffs. “Eating all of her food, she be paying your bills.”
Jhene then takes a more direct approach. “You got soft that type of shit you be doing, that’s some weak shit that you on,” the Sail Out diva declares. “You know that I’m right and you know that you wrong.” She dropped a belated video today (March 23) without warning and it’s a typically mellow affair that combines trippy visual effects with no-nonsense posturing.
