Beyoncé graces 45 covers of Elle worldwide for the May issue, and today a preview of the interview went live. In the rare in-depth discussion, Bey addresses feminism, “Formation” and of course her new clothing line Ivy Park.

Most interestingly, she talks about shifting the tone of the dialogue when it comes to women’s bodies. “It’s really about changing the conversation. It’s not about perfection,” she explains. “It’s about purpose. We have to care about our bodies and what we put in them. Women have to take the time to focus on our mental health — take time for self, for the spiritual, without feeling guilty or selfish. The world will see you the way you see you, and treat you the way you treat yourself.”

As for her athleisure line specifically, the star says the essence of the brand follows that line of thinking “to celebrate every woman and the body she’s in while always striving to be better.”
