Pia Mia Announces Will.i.am Collab “Boys & Girls”

Pia Mia made the leap from YouTube sensation to edgy pop diva look easy in 2015 with a pair of excellent singles. “Do It Again,” a sexy banger featuring Chris Brown and Tyga, showcased the 19-year-old’s wild side, while tropical house excursion “Touch” hinted at unexpected depth and versatility. As such, expectations are high for her next single — a collaboration with evergreen rapper/producer will.i.am called “Boys & Girls” (due April 8).

Given the Black Eyed Peas founder’s incredible track record at sniffing out hits, this could be the song that takes Pia to the next level. “Boys & Girls” is expected to be the lead single from will.i.am’s fifth solo LP. His glamorous collaborator is still putting the finishing touches on her debut album — having hit the studio with Rock City, Benny Blanco, Ricky Reed, Justin Bieber, Ty Dolla Sign, Ester Dean and Naughty Boy.
