Pop Perspective: Ariana's "Dangerous Woman"
Our editors rate and review Ariana Grande's new single "Dangerous Woman."

Ariana Grande revealed that Nicki Minaj features on third LP Dangerous Woman during a radio interview in March. A brief snippet of that collaboration surfaced online today (April 7) and it sounds like a dancehall-tinged banger. This is the third time the hitmakers have worked together — Ari lent her vocals to Pinkprint anthem “Get On Your Knees” in 2015 and they both featured on Jessie J’s 2014 hit “Bang Bang.”

The collaboration could be the shot in the arm Dangerous Woman needs. The similarly-titled lead single hasn’t connected as well as My Everything smashes “Problem” and “Break Free,” and potential second cut “Be Alright” has been accused of plagiarizing the work of UK producer Mura Masa. Ariana’s third LP arrives on May 20. Listen to a snippet of the pint-sized diva’s latest Nicki collab below.
