There’s nothing official here yet, will.i.am fans, but the Black Eyes Peas mastermind/Voice UK coach recently took part in an interview with France’s NRJ radio, and let listeneres his new album could be out sometime next month.

“We were thinking like mid-May,” Will said during the chat, while not looking 100% sure about that projection. “Um, I don’t know yet. It’ll probably get moved. But right now it’s planned for May, before the end of May.”

Someone off-camera grabbed Will’s attention, and the rapper-singer then stated, “May 27? Something like that.”

Last week Will’s party jam pair-up with Pia Mia, “Boys & Girls,” arrived. That was followed this week by the premiere of a video for three-year-old Nicole Scherzinger collaboration “Mona Lisa Smile.”

And while things are moving right along with will.i.am’s solo career, he also noted a few days back that The Black Eyed Peas will return at some point. And let’s not forget that long-awaited Fergie album.

It’s like the aughts all over again.
