Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne, Years & Years Nominated For Ivor Novello Awards

Several preliminary nominations have been announced for the UK’s upcoming May 19 Ivor Novello Awards, with other categories like Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Song Collection to be revealed that evening at London’s Grosvenor House.

Interestingly, Ed Sheeran is up against Jamie Lawson, an artist signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man label, for Best Song Musically And Lyrically. They’ll both compete with Wolf Alice for the award.

Elsewhere, Grammy winner Jess Glynne is faced with competition from Grammy nominee James Bay and BRIT Awards nominees Years & Years for Most Performed Work.
