Meghan Trainor Teases Yo Gotti-Featuring “Better”: Listen
When Meghan Trainor announced that her new album features Yo Gotti, we didn’t know what to expect. The Memphis rapper had just scored his first #1 hip-hop hit “Down In The DM,” which doesn’t sound at all like a Meghan Trainor track. But today we get our first idea of what this all might sound like.
The “No” singer posted a snippet, where she sings, “And I deserve better / better than you.” The subject matter seems heavy, though her voice is as light as air, to where she is unrecognizable. As for Gotti, well, we’re sure he was quick on his feet. Legend has it, he recorded “DM” as he was actually learning how to use the function on Instagram and Snapchat.
