Who's Becky?
The Beyhive swarmed in on Rachel Roy, who appears to be "Becky with the good hair."

Don’t worry, Beyhive: Beyoncé‘s new album is getting a wider release.

Immediately after its April 23 HBO premiere, LEMONADE appeared for streaming and sale on TIDAL. (Beyoncé and featured artist Jack White are part owners.) Fans had signed up for free 30-day trials of TIDAL in anticipation, but that exclusivity period didn’t last for long. As The New York Times reported, iTunes started carrying LEMONADE just 24 hours later.

Beyoncé’s LEMONADE helped TIDAL become the third best-selling free app on Apple — a huge boost for the streaming service with 3 million subscribers.

But a pop superstar must also face pressure to make her music as widely available as possible. LEMONADE‘s availability on iTunes is part of a larger release. An Amazon listing notes that physical copies will be available May 6. According to The Verge, though, LEMONADE will also be streaming “exclusively in perpetuity” over at TIDAL. Unless there’s a TLOP-like about-face, then sorry, Spotify and Apple Music.
