In the days following Prince‘s death, plenty of details and rumors have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding his sudden passing. Perhaps most telling of all the reports is what the singer’s brother-in-law Maurice Phillips is reported to have said.

According to The Mirror, Phillips claimed, “I was with [Prince] just last weekend. He worked 154 hours straight.” That’s more than six days without a break, a troubling amount for even a young, healthy person, let alone a 57-year-old who’d just survived some sort of medical emergency.

This tidbit comes just a day after the singer’s remains were cremated and hours after three of his albums ascended into the top 10 of the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Findings from an autopsy are still days away, at which point rumblings surrounding his cause of death will hopefully be put to rest.
