In addition to being a brilliant singer, songwriter and performer, Beyonce is also the world’s greatest curator. Take Lemonade highlight “Hold Up.” The reggae-tinged anthem boasts three samples (Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Maps,” Andy Williams’ “Can’t Get Used To Losing You” and Soulja Boy’s “Turn My Swag On”) and 15 songwriters. And yet, it comes together seamlessly. Queen Bey’s ability to blend disparate influences is truly unparalleled.

To celebrate the 34-year-old’s latest act of alchemy, I’ve rounded up a selection of the songwriters, producers and special guests that feature on Lemonade. I’ve also included some of the sampled artists because people need to know that their new favorite Beyonce new banger is built from spare parts taken from a ’00s bop, a seminal indie ballad and a legendary crooner’s signature ballad.
