Is Britney Spears Performing At The Billboard Music Awards?
Over the past few weeks, Britney Spears has been rumored to be performing the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. So far, the only billed artists are P!nk, the Go-Gos, DNCE and Shawn Mendes. But on April 15, tabloids reported that Billboard “has been desperate” to also book Britney, bitch.
Now, a new ad for this year’s ceremony shows footage from Britney’s BBMAs performance from last year, when she and Iggy Azalea‘s “Pretty Girls” got its live debut. Blink, and you will miss the snippet featuring One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande, among others. But the majority of those artists have been nominated this year. Britney is not. She does, however, have an upcoming single to promote.
