Maty Noyes Continues To Impress With “Love You With A Bang”
Maty Noyes seemingly came out of nowhere last year to land an uncredited feature on The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness closer “Angel.” The 18-year-old backed it up with two great, but very different, buzz tracks (“Charge It To The Game” and “Can’t Tell Me Who To Love”) and then ended up on hit Kygo banger “Stay.” She continues to impress with new single “Love You With A Bang,” which features on the Mr. Right soundtrack.
And it’s another change of pace. Maty’s latest is a percussion-driven bop with nods to retro-soul and funk. “1. I’ll pull your trigger, 2. down goes the zipper,” the Los Angeles-based singer coos. “Ooh I’m top shelf liquor.” It’s sassy, catchy pop with a sense of humor. Which makes the wait for the newcomer’s debut EP or LP (depending how generous she’s feeling) all the more agonizing. Listen to “Love You With A Bang” below.
