Lady Gaga & Elton John Team Up On Clothing Line, For All Your Circus Formal Fashion Needs
Friends and LG5 collaborators Lady Gaga and Elton John are teaming up on a clothing line, but despite the garish fashion pedigrees of the two stars, it looks like it’ll be a pretty sensible collection.
The partnership is called Love Bravery, and it’s touted as “a high-spirited, limited-edition line of clothing and accessories that inspire compassion and combat prejudice.” Items include shirts, outerwear, hats, bags and lifestyle fare like skateboards (guess they know something about their fanbase that we don’t) and speakers. A quarter of the sales will go to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
“I love the idea of fusing who you are on the inside – your passions and dreams – with what you wear on the outside,” Sir Elton said in a statement. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the line was created in collaboration with Gaga’s sister, Natali Germanotta, and stylist/designer Brandon Maxwell, and will be on sale at Macy’s this spring through August 30.
