Holy hotline bling: Drake is about to break his own sales records.

His latest, Views, earned more than 630,000 equivalent album units during its first day out on April 29, according to Republic Records. This figure factors in the sales and streams at iTunes and Apple Music, on which Views is an exclusive this week.

The news also confirms what Drake said during his album release party at nightclub La Vie Toronto. “I got a text message that we sold like, 630,000-something records in one night,” he said. “That’s the first time that I’ve ever done that.”

Drake’s personal best first-week sales was with Nothing Was the Same, which debuted at #1 with 658,000 sold its first week. While an Apple exclusive, Views could earn more than 800,000 units within that same time frame. If that happens, it will be the first album by a male artist since Justin Timberlake‘s The 20/20 Experience to sell as much.

Regardless, this looks like another huge sales week, after the arrival of Beyoncé‘s Lemonade. Watch Drake talk Views sales below.
