A couple days after releasing his sprawling, navel-gazing new album Views, Drake made a surprise appearance at Toronto’s Ryerson University and treated students to the debut live performance of LP cut “Pop Style.”

He showed up during the school’s “6-cents” spring concert, hosted by Future‘s pal DJ Esco, and performed the standout Views track solo, which is how it appears on the album. He also performed “One Dance,” “Summer Sixteen” and “Energy.”

“I’m just doing this shit to prove to the rest of the world that this is the greatest city in the world,” he told the students, according to Hot New Hip Hop. Watch fan footage of Drake’s appearance below.
