Taylor Swift & Kanye West Signed Lorde’s Cast At The 2016 Met Gala
Lorde walked the red carpet at last night’s (May 2) Met Gala wearing a dreamy tulle dress and an arm cast. It’s unclear if the New Zealand superstar broke her arm or was simply wearing the plaster as an unlikely fashion accessory (it kind of fits the event’s Fashion In An Age Of Technology theme), but she made the most of the situation by asking a bunch of her celebrity friends to sign it. Talk about a future collector’s item.
From a picture posted on Twitter, it looks like Kanye West decorated the cast with “YEEZUS,” while Taylor Swift left a more personal message. Florence Welch was also snapped leaving her mark on the now-valuable plaster. Lorde is currently hard at work on the follow-up to 2013 breakthrough LP Pure Heroine, which has been certified triple platinum by RIAA. She also penned a song on Broods’ new album, Conscious.
