If Beyonce was going to throw her weight behind any beverage, the short odds were on lemonade. (After all, it’s the title of her sixth LP). Instead, Queen Bey has invested in WTRMLN WTR — a brand of cold-pressed watermelon juice. And her reasons for getting into the refreshment business are typically worthy. “I invested in WTRMLN WTR because it’s the future of clean, natural hydration; as partners, we share a simple mission to deliver accessible wellness to the world,” the 34-year-old said in a statement.

“This is more than an investment in a brand, it’s an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers, and the health of people and our planet.” If anyone can get people drinking watermelon juice, it’s Beyonce. They just need to use “Drunk In Love,” with its “I’ve been drinking” refrain, and sales will go through the roof. I’m sure it would also taste delicious with vodka.
