Meghan Trainor is back and getting in touch with her bonafide diva in zesty new single “Me Too.”
While “NO” was all about fending off unwanted attention from suitors, “Me Too” focuses more on gaining self-respect and confidence. The Grammy-winning songstress is not shy about it, either.
“I thank God every day that I woke up feeling this way/ And I can’t help loving myself,” Trainor sings over the synth-laden, infectious beat. “If I was you, I’d wanna be me too.”
And judging from the photo that Trainor posted on Instagram, it looks like the song’s video is coming shortly, too.
