CRUISR’s New Single “Take That” Is Fantastic. Give It A Listen. You’re Welcome.

Philly natives CRUISR gave us all one of the happiest indie-pop songs of last summer, with “Throw Shade.” The gents appear to have pared their act down from a quartet to a trio all these months later, and they’re back with another feel-good jam for 2016: “Take That.” Basically all you need to know is that it’s an instantly catchy little number with synths, guitar and even a kiddie chorus shouting — you guessed it — “Take that!”

See? Good stuff. Added bonus: “Take That” comes with a B-side called “The Fritz,” and, yep — it’s great.

“In the spirit of our last two releases the first song is an A-side called ‘Take That’ which is about really rooting for and supporting someone you care about through their accomplishments, and knowing full on that they have your back as well,” states CRUISR’s Andy States. “The second song is ‘The Fritz’ which is something older (back when CRUISR had an ‘E’) that we’ve revamped.”

So let’s get this straight: CRUISR somehow aren’t huge yet, but radio is filled with bland-as-fuck tracks by Maroon 5? Somebody needs to fix this.
