Australian soul singer Grace has a global hit on her hands with a moody update of Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me.” Co-produced by Quincy Jones, the still-timely ballad topped the charts at home, went top 5 in the UK and recently debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 94. With the song finding love on multiple radio formats, the 19-year-old should soar a lot higher in weeks to come. In the meantime, she’s keeping fans happy by releasing a brand new song.

The Brisbane teenager returns with another retro-soul anthem called “Hell Of A Girl,” which is expected to drop on Friday (May 13). Grace has been sharing previews of the video on Instagram and it already sounds like a stone cold smash. “Karma, karma, karma, she’s a hell of girl,” she wails over jaunty piano in one snippet. “You messed up, you messed up,” the newcomer croons in another. Get a taste of Grace’s new break-up anthem below.
