Ariana Grande Enlists Macy Gray On The Haunting “Leave Me Lonely”: Listen

In advance of her third studio album Dangerous Woman, Ariana Grande is, slowly but surely, squeezing out one song at a time via Apple Music. And so far, it seems that she’s recruited a star-studded army – from Future to Lil Wayne – to help with vocal assists. Now, the pop starlet released another collab track,  “Leave Me Lonely,” with none other than Macy Gray.

From the point of view of a disillusioned lover, Grande delivers a soulful break-up ballad over a sultry piano-laden melody. To boot, Gray’s signature husky vocals, which are woven throughout the song, are haunting to say the least.

“Dangerous love, you’re no good for me, darling/ Yeah, you turn me away/ Like I’m begging for a dollar,” the “I Try” songstress croons in the beginning of the track.

The full version of the song is on iTunes, but listen to the 30-second snippet below. Dangerous Woman is out this Friday (May 20).
